The Protection of asylum seekers is guaranteed in several international agreements and treaties. Even EU recognized the need to secure their rights to avoid torture and bad treatment. Nevertheless, the humanitarian situation and the legal conditions for asylum seekers in Greece is below criticism.

People of Europe stand up for human rights! It is totally unacceptable that such behavior still occur in our part of the world or in any other for that matter. What is the European commission doing to solve this problem and end this human misery? We need, no we demand an answer. Now!

The international AIDS-day

november 29, 2007 · Kommentera

This saturday, 1 dec, is the international AIDS-day. Every day 5700 people dies and 6800 are infected by HIV/AIDS. HIV/AIDS is a horrible global epidemic that hits against all parts in the society. However, worst is the problem in the poor countries. the international community should wake up and work together in order to find a solution for the epidemic.

But even national governments and Parliament has a big responsibility. In order to accomplish any move towards the right direction, the civil society has to collaborate.

The first step is to change our attitudes.

Save our democracy!

november 23, 2007 · Kommentera

Every day or almost every day in the recent two months have shooting, bomb-threat or bombexplosions taken place  in western Sweden.  Is it time for a national police-agency, similar to the FBI, to be created. One thing is for sure, we need strong police force that can operate nationally and stop MC-gangsters that are threatening the fundamental rights in Sweden. The nation has to organize itself against this criminal-activities so that we keep our freedom and our democracy safe.  We don´t have no other alternative than to fight back for our children’s sake. We keep talking about the environment that we have to save. Ofcourse, we have to do that but please for God´s sake don´t forget saving our democracy too!

Mugabe´s abuse

november 3, 2007 · Kommentera

In 1980 when Mugabe became President of Zimbabwe, he was conceived as a hero of Africa’s liberation struggle. He was handed the second best economy in South Africa with very well functioning infrastructure and good health care. Therefore, it was was expected from him to lead Zimbabwe to a glorious future of rapid socio-economic and political development. Today, this man, an 83-year-old autocrat, is on his way to EU meeting in Lisbon after he has totally ruined his country and deprived his people from all necessities and worthy treatment.  He and  his agents from his feared Central Intelligence Organization (CIO) will be  present at one of the most important meeting place between Africa and Europe. Should Europe meet this corrupt, ruthless and cruel man? Should Sweden meet this monster? Should he even be allowed to speak. A man whose great achievement is collapsing his own country´s economy reaching an inflation rate of 4,500%, according to Time magazine. He is scaring people out of the country causing a brain drain in-order to secure his power. Most of the children in Zimbabwe are out of school due to his and his own governments policies.  People are starving. One third of his people is dependent on food aid for its survival. Maybe it is good with such meeting because it uncovers Zimbabwe´s problems and his abuse. I call for the international community and for the world´s civil society to help Zimbabwean human rights and pro-demracy activists to achieve peace and prosper.  Facing the monsoon,  they will stand strong the rocks, challenging their own fears and making their voice heard.
